This is an immersive and interactive website where visitors are guided on an intimate journey with material related to Maud Sulter. Material is sourced from public collections and websites, interwoven with individual experiences and reflections on the impact of her work on younger-generation artists. This act of Digital Devotion considers the role of sound in creating intimate archives, sacred containers, and space for contemplation. This project shines a new light on the practice of groundbreaking Artist Maud Sulter, who sadly passed away in 2008 but left a prolific body of work and impact. Where possible, Maud is presented in her own words.
